Setting: Baby Ruth and Little Boy Blue during gymnastics class. Baby Ruth finishes a perfect dismount and takes her place on the balance beam (next to Little Boy Blue) to await her next turn.Little Boy Blue: "What's that on your face?"
Baby Ruth: smiling, she strokes her cheek "That's my birthmark."
Little Boy Blue: sliding away from her, pointing to the far end of the balance beam "Go sit down there."
Baby Ruth: glances down to the far end of the balance beam, stands up and walks down.
I cried inside, mostly because she was unaware of
what a jerk this kid was. He hadn't hurt her feelings at all.
He'd made me hurt....that was awful to watch.
Therefore, I dub him:
Gymnastics Pecker!
Kids can be so cruel....He was obviously intimidated by her and her sweet little beauty mark. He just couldn't handle that much cuteness in one tiny package I guess!!!
